You Can’t Be Afraid of the Answer

In my previous post, I mentioned asking a simple, direct question. Well, I did exactly that, and got an answer too. It wasn’t exactly the answer I was hoping for, but it was the beginning of a dialog.
I think all too often we don’t ask those questions not because we are afraid to do so, but rather are afraid of the answer we might get. But you know my life did not come to an end just because I didn’t hear what I wanted to hear. If anything, my life has become more focused.
It is said “when one door closes, another door opens“. But sometimes, when a door closes, or better said, does not open at all, it directs you further down the path, perhaps to the destination that was actually meant to be.
