Born the son of an Art Director, I knew at an early age that I wanted to be a photographer. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, I worked in NYC for several years until a life changing event helped me find my way to Germany. There I learned many life-lessons, including how to “listen” for I could not speak a word of German at the time.

Starting over in this fashion teaches humility as well. The first photographic job I was able to land was as an assistant. And it was as the second assistant! But I needed to learn the language as well as the professional workings of a German photo studio. I worked hard, and soon landed a job running the Studios for an electronics company called Grundig.

Fast forward 12 years, and a move back to the States was in the works. Glad to be “home” but miss friends and family (my wife is German) back in Deutschland.

Life is an adventure. Take pictures along the way!
